Virginia Beach Restaurant Association Launches “Hidden Table” — A New Secret Dining Experience

Virginia Beach, VA — October 5, 2026– Forget ordinary dinner reservations. The Virginia Beach Restaurant Association (VBRA) is launching Hidden Table, an exclusive, reservation-only culinary experience where guests know the date—but the restaurant remains a secret until the day of the event. The inaugural Hidden Table will take place October 26, 2026, inviting adventurous diners to experience Virginia Beach’s culinary scene in an entirely new way.

“This is about creating more than a dinner,” said Martha Davenport, Executive Director of the Virginia Beach Restaurant Association. “We want to create anticipation, discovery, and a little bit of mystery while giving our chefs and restaurants an opportunity to really showcase their creativity. You reserve your seat, trust the experience and let us surprise you.”

THE EXPERIENCE. THE SECRET.

Guests purchase their tickets in advance knowing only the date of the event. On the day of Hidden Table, they will receive an email revealing the restaurant location along with everything they need to know before arriving.

THE ANTICIPATION IS PART OF THE EXPERIENCE

Each Hidden Table will be hosted by a different Virginia Beach restaurant, with the chef creating a special multi-course menu exclusively for Hidden Table guests. These one-night-only menus will highlight culinary creativity, seasonal ingredients, and signature flavors that may not be found on the restaurant’s regular menu. No two Hidden Table experiences will be the same.

“Virginia Beach has an incredible culinary community, and sometimes the best way to discover something new is to take a chance,” Davenport added. “Hidden Table gives diners a reason to get out of their comfort zone, try a restaurant they may not have discovered yet, and experience the talent behind our local kitchens.”

MORE THAN DINNER

Hidden Table is designed to introduce guests to remarkable restaurants and talented chefs while creating an intimate dining experience centered around discovery, connection, and surprise. Attendance will be intentionally limited, making each Hidden Table an exclusive experience. When the tickets are gone, they’re gone.

Each ticket includes:

  • Exclusive admission to Hidden Table
  • A chef-curated multi-course dining experience
  • Gratuity
  • Processing fees

Alcoholic beverages are not included and may be purchased separately during the event.

The October 26 dinner will mark the beginning of a new VBRA culinary series designed to celebrate the people, restaurants, and creativity that make Virginia Beach a distinctive dining destination.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Reserve Your Seat. Purchase a ticket before the event sells out.
  • Keep the Secret. You’ll know the date—but not the destination.
  • Location Revealed. On the day of the event, VBRA will email guests the restaurant location and final details.

Enjoy the Adventure. Arrive hungry and prepare to discover one of Virginia Beach’s hidden culinary gems.

Tickets are on sale now.
